To Upload a Photo
To upload a photo you need to tell the website where to find your photo in your computer. To do this, hit the Browse button, and navigate to the file you want to upload and hit the Open button:
This will then place the file path into the text box on the screen; you can now add your comment:
When done hit the Add image! button, your picture will be uploaded, this may take a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the size of the photo. When done you will see the photo on the website, this is now stored and displayed to every one! You can upload another photo if you wish by the same method, or carry on browsing the site.
The techy bit: The website only allows upload in .jpg or .jpeg form, other formats you may encounter are .gif or .bmp, these are not supported by the website.
What happens if my images are in .gif or .bmp format?
It is very easy to convert your images before you upload, to do this you can use Microsoft Paint (which comes will all windows versions).
- First, open Paint, to do this go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint.
- Now, navigate to your photo you want to convert, and open it, to do this go to File > Open. You will now see your photo on the screen.
- Go to File > Save As, change the “Save As Type” drop down box to display JPEG. And enter a name for the photo in the “File Name” box. Take note of where you’re saving the image to, and change it if necessary.
- Hit the Save button and that’s it; your image is now saved as a .jpg, which you can upload to the website.
Updating or removing a photo
To update the comment in a photo, simply click on your photos on your account menu. You will then see a list of photos that you currently have uploaded.
To delete a photo, simply press the  button next to the photo you wish to remove.
