A great sense of community, less importance put on materialism and more on a way of life, but most important of all, space...Beautful countryside, not too many people - just the sheer joy of the simpler things in life that we tend to ignore in our search for 'success'. I am not in to nightclubs, trying to recapture my youth or anything that may be associated with a mid-life crisis, I am allergic to both a pipe and slippers, as I am hoardes of friends and close knit families, members of whom seem to spend all their time trying to do the right thing for each other, but are so generous in their nature that they tend to forget about themselves. I have a wonderful family. but we all do our own thing, and we enjoy each other's successes without having to be in close proximity. I guess I am just fairly independant, but not to the point of not wanting to have someone unique in my life to share those special moments - you know - the one's where you wish there was someone there with you to share your enjoyment of a moment, an achievement, or just simply to share your thoughts with. It is my intention to buy an old property in need of renovation as this is my passion - it is not work, just pleasure combined with sweat and tears! This is unlikely to be everyone's cup of tea, but it would be wonderful to meet someone who, if this way of life did not fill them too full of dread, yet the thought of manual labour did not appeal too much, was sufficiently independent as far as their career or hobbies were concerned that they could both adapt to, and enjoy living in such an environment - with someone who was hopefully intelligent enough to be able to keep them mentally entertained, who was daft enough to always be able to make them laugh, and who could ....
