She joined us on Aug 2005 and says that if she was an animal she'd be an elephant! details: I cured my rather serious addiction to chat rooms a few years ago - I finally got fed up with all the a/s/l and cyber-sex requests, but now I find myself sort of wanting to dip a toe back into the water again - but I am not looking for A) Undying Love and Marriage or B) Meeting up with people for casual sex ... however somewhere in the middle would be rather nice though! I am currently off work with 'acute stress' - such a cliche - but what can I say! So, I am now officially screwed up and am starting a course of Psychotherapy/Counselling - sound attractive so far don't I?!! I have been in a crap job for far too long, where I have been over-worked and under-appreciated and just recently bullied by a junior member of staff who just happens to be a close personal friend of the managers - hence me needing the Counselling! I have also been doing voluntary work for about 6 years (Mediating between Neighbours in dispute, Victims and Offenders, Parents & Teenagers etc etc) - which I really enjoy and am told I am very good at - but sadly there are no paid positions in this field - story of my life! I am very broke so I can't afford a wild Social Life - even if I could remember what one of those was! I live alone and work mainly evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays in a Call Centre (Yes, I am one of those awful people who annoy people over the telephone for money - but hey, it pays the mortgage - well just about!). I am usually on a diet - I am 5 feet tall and 18-19 stone (depending on how well I am sticking to the diet!) - so I am not 'plump' or 'cuddly' - I am fat - or as the Doctors so charmingly put it - 'morbidly obese' - so I am not exactly the type to go for 5 mile hikes or even a quick jog to the pub! Having said that, I do enjoy gentle strolls along the seafront or into the countryside. I also enjoy the company of intelligent, friendly, open-mided, interesting people. I am not looking for a man (or woman) to 'save me' from my boring existence and look after me - I enjoy my independence and don't envisage moving in with someone, much less getting married, but I would like to make some friends - whether that be 'in the flesh' or over the net - I can't promise to be the most riveting company all the time, because, to be quite honest, I am quite down at the moment due to the problems at work which have really affected my confidence but I always think there is much more to a person than first meets the eye ... I do seem to recall having quite a good sense of fun and a good sense of humour somewhere in the dim and distant past - maybe someone out there could help me to unbury it! view profile | contact | images
