Introduction:

In search of balance in my life
I have now been in the Sarasota/Bradenton area for two years. Because I work a lot, I do not spend much time getting around the area, so it feels like I have been here for only two days. I love cooking, sports, and dance music. We are about to open a new restaurant in Cape Town, and I am VERY excited about that. (Chef by profession), as well as our recording label. Balance is clearly needed, because I will create new (work) projects with more free time!!
I like women who are very independent. The needy type become boring quickly. Because I am very busy, it leaves very little time for women who bring a bunch of games to the table. Say what you mean, and mean what you say, please!! Physical attraction is essential, but not everything. Conversation is a must!! I like women who can speak intelligently about world issues. Compassion for the less than fortunate is a definite turn-on. Women who love to gossip will lose my interest after the second word!!
I like to go out on dates, but I have found it more beneficial to stay in and BBQ with a date. Flowers, beer, and wine in-house (no driving)!! It allows me to really get to know a woman, as there are no outside distractions. When I have free time, fishing and reading newspapers do it for me. Who cares what I catch!!
I think I have finally overcome my fear of flying, which I am happy about, because I am dying to experience certain cuisines in their respective homelands (I guess it is that "Chef" thing in me!!).
I love American football (college and professional), World football (Premier League, UEFA, La Liga, Eredivisie, Serie A, World Cup, etc.), and college basketball. k d w h i t e 1 1 at (m a i l t h a t i s h o t t e r t h a n t h e r e s t)
I read newspapers more so than novels, as I like to stay informed of what is going on in the world. Working has made Direct TV a "forced friend." Love to change that. But that is why I am here, so let's see what is!!
